Most motorists have at one time or another, driven at high speeds in wet conditions. And most of the time, they've felt their cars behave awkwardly. What was experienced in these situations were varying degrees of loss in wet grip. But what causes this lack of control?

GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEMOn smooth roads, in moderate rain at 100km/h, a total of 5 litres of water per second is needed to be displaced from beneath a tyre contact patch before the tyre is to grip effectively. Tests have shown, at high speeds, a wedge of water can build up under a tyre when there is insufficient time for the tyre to displace water. When the tyre is eventually riding on a film of water, virtually without any friction, the tyre is said to be aquaplaning. At this stage the car would be completely out of control.

HOW TO GET GRIPTo avoid aquaplaning, speeds must be reduced when going over pools of water to allow the tyre time to displace the water and provide maximum grip. It's also important to note that the tread depth remaining also plays a vital role here since wet grip decreases as tread depth decreases, if other factors are the same.

That car is actually running a 1.3 litre 16 valve EFI engine,and it using the CAMPRO(itu buatan Malaysia,must support),the engineering of Malaysian Cars,duno whether good enough,i mean long lasting enough(duwan compare wif japanese car),At least i think it can long lasting till 10 years??
